A beggar and a tourist in playfull mood

Round trip : Delhi>Banaras>Sarnath>Delhi.
Dilli ki sarrdi was not on its peaks and compared to last year’s valentine, this Feb was warmer. But for a (1/2th Hyderabadi+1/4th Banarasi+1/8 Delhite+……. ) It was good enough to hibernate. Home visit surprisingly involved hometown visit. And this time I insisted ,I wanna go as a tourist , stay in a hotel and see the Ghats.The time otherwise spent visiting some relatives was rather saved for tourism .
Suggestion: everybody should visit their native as a tourist. One will end up with less complains and the usual around will be perceived as marvel. It’s all perspective you know. In future thyself shall visit Hyderabad on similar grounds.
Varanasi , cherished by many , in the early years failed to impress me in terms of infrastructure and facilities. My bad, was trying to find the ease of metropolis in the oldest city of Nirvana. Seldom I knew then, only mother nature in its crudest form, away from citified concrete jungles will solve the ultimate veraciousness. This time years later , it was soothing, so calm , so pure, so relaxed. The rickshaws causing traffic (read Human) jams in Vishwanath Galli(the most congested galli on earth) were far better than the toxic ones of cities. You will find innumerable hippy looking foreigners, wandering rakishly in and around Ganges , fiddling music instruments and such .So did I , treasured some moments of peace on Tulsi Ghat .But was sad to see the diminishing levels of water , which otherwise was volcanoes.
Sarnath pushta bhumi of Pa was much more of historical interest , The Stupas , Museum , Ahsoka pillars , Buddhism, Jainism and such.
With us telling every auto walla “Bhaiya hum yanhee se hain , itna charge kissliye”?

Listen to "O Saya" to feel Rahmania when on a long drive. That man surely knows how to get music out of life and Vice versa to resonance .

Delhi was mostly long effortless jet drives on well connected expressways .
Of course there was Lajjpath nagar , Connaught place ,Janpath holy Darshan for the most holiest act - shopping .Ironically the author was not on a buying spree.

Dhamekh StupaBuilt in the 5th-6th century a.d., the Dhamekh Stupais the tallest of them. The fine quality of brickwork is more than evident in this stupa which has a high cylindrical dome.
